We are not an in-network provider with any insurance panels and do not work directly with insurance companies. For clients with PPO insurance plans, upon request, we provide a receipt of services (also known as a “superbill”). We give this directly to clients so you can see exactly what information we are sharing with your insurance plan; the information we include is what is necessary for insurance to consider reimbursement. You use this to apply for reimbursement from your insurance company. We do not work with or communicate with insurance companies directly.
In the spirit of transparency, submitting a superbill requires us to give you a diagnosis, which will become part of your medical record. Additionally, your insurance may ask for your therapy records. As many of our clients desire the highest levels of privacy, this may be undesirable.
