Accepting new clients starting on December 10th.

I’m Dr. Elizabeth Smith Han (she/her), a neurodivergent, biracial clinical psychologist licensed in California (PSY35211), Illinois (071010238), and Indiana (20043115A). I speak English and conversational Korean. My mother is Korean and my father is a disabled US Army veteran. With several neurodivergent family members and relocations throughout my life, including moving to the States in early childhood, I developed an early interest in compassionate, individualized health care for people from diverse backgrounds. As a psychologist, I enjoy working with people of all ages, couples, and families. I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent individuals and families through challenges related to identity, relationships, and mental health. I also have expertise with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, masking, perfectionism, trauma, and life transitions.

I provide care through a relational, collaborative, LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent affirming, culturally responsive, and trauma informed approach. Although I have training in a variety of techniques, I believe healing is a deeply personal journey. I therefore tailor sessions to meet each individual’s unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based techniques and creative approaches to find what works best for them. Some approaches I utilize include modalities such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Positive Psychology, and Narrative therapy, along with expressive art, play, Geek Therapy, and honoring ancestral healing practices. Above all, I aim to meet people where they are, helping them navigate stress, trauma, and life challenges with empathy, understanding, and support.
