Who is appropriate for Dr. Lee’s adult ADHD assessment process?

• If you’re seeking better understanding of yourself for your own knowledge or for treatment planning purposes, this process is appropriate.
• If you are seeking accommodations through your school or work, please check with your school or workplace what they require for accommodations. If they require an assessment report, Dr. Lee’s assessment process is not a good fit. If they only need simple forms completed, Dr. Lee’s process is a good fit.
• Dr. Lee’s assessment process is not appropriate for those who need government services (e.g.,  disability) or accommodation processes that require a written assessment report.
• You must physically be in California for Dr. Lee to assess you.

How much does the assessment cost?

• The assessment costs $750, paid upfront via PayPal 48 business hours/2 business days prior to the first session. This covers the first two  sessions of the assessment.
• If additional sessions are needed, Dr. Lee will tell you at the end of the first session. Each additional session is $375, due 48 business hours/2 business days prior to the additional session.
• If you have out of network benefits, Dr. Lee can provide you with a receipt of services, which can be used to get out-of-network reimbursement. This receipt includes your diagnosis, so be sure you are okay with your insurance having access to that information.
• Dr. Lee can complete additional paperwork for college and work accommodations for an additional cost. Cost is prorated, based on the rate of $375/45 minutes.

How long does an assessment take?

• The assessment consists of two or more 45-minute weekly sessions. About two-thirds of the time, the assessment can be completed in two sessions. The other third of the time, more than two sessions are needed, with the far majority finishing within four sessions.
• Assessment process length is influenced by complexity of the case and how much time is needed to collect the needed data to confidently rule in and rule out diagnoses.
• Assessment sessions are the same day/time each week until the process is complete.

Does Dr. Lee only assess for ADHD?

• Dr. Lee assesses for other forms of neurodivergence, such as autism, OCD, PTSD, C-PTSD.

How do I start?

• Email Dr. Lee and let her know you read her assessment webpage and want to move forward with an assessment.
• Dr. Lee will let you know if she has a waitlist or not. Currently, on average, she is scheduling people within 1-3 weeks after initial inquiry.
